PIPSQC is pleased to share the upcoming Children's Healthcare Canada webinar event, "Collaborating to Eliminate Preventable Harm: A Report from Canadian members of Solutions for Patient Safety" is set to take place November 20, 2019 (11:00am - 12:00pm EST).
Children's Healthcare Canada is pleased to support Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) on their "Journey Toward Zero Harm". SPS is an international network of more than 135 children's hospitals, which share the vision that no child will ever experience serious harm while admitted to a hospital. They believe that by putting aside competition and sharing safety successes and failures, everyone can achieve their goals faster. Currently there are 7 children's hospitals in Canada that are participating in this international collaboration.
During this webinar you will hear from three of the Canadian SPS members, the IWK Health Centre, CHEO and McMaster Children's Hospital. They will share their experiences in participating in SPS, with each centre showcasing a specific intervention that they have implemented. Our presenters will discuss their safety goals and progress, as well as discuss the value of participating in this collaborative to prevent harm.
This webinar will be of interest to the following audiences:
- Front-line clinicians
- Senior and middle managers from healthcare institutions serving children and youth
- Policy makers
- Child and Family advocates
