WHO - World Patient Safety Day, 17 September 2019

In May 2019, the 72nd World Health Assembly endorsed the establishment of World Patient Safety Day to be observed annually on 17 September. The objective of World Patient Safety Day is to raise global awareness about patient safety and encourage global solidarity and action. The theme of the very first World Patient Safety Day is Patient Safety: a global health priority and the slogan is Speak up for Patient Safety!
