PIPSQC is pleased to announce the upcoming RCPCH QI Master Class, "Developing and spreading change: Quality improvement in paediatrics and child health" is set to take place April 7, 2014 at the ICC in Birmingham, UK.
Are you interested in improving the quality of care for children?
The RCPCH Clinical Standards Committee and Running Horse Group are hosting an interactive one-day course to introduce participants to the theories and methodologies of quality improvement and patient safety.
The course will be opened by Dr. Hilary Cass, RCPCH President, followed by a morning of talks from experts in the field including confirmed speakers Professor Jason Leitch (Scotland), Dr. Jonny Taitz (Australia), Dr. Pierre Barker (United States) and Professor Matthew Scanlon (United States).
The afternoon will feature a participatory workshop, held by the Running Horse Group, which will demonstrate application of theories in a problem solving exercise.
The course aims to:
· Inspire and engage those new to quality improvement
· Share and provide new knowledge on the delivery and application of quality improvement
· Establish connections with colleagues in their localities and regions to strengthen regional networks
· Be fun and interactive, and provide take away practical skills
